The Culuccia wool cape is inspired by the traditional Sardinian cloak Su saccu. this crudely made accessory garment obtained by sewing together two large mirror-like pieces of Orbace had an essentially practical purpose, it became the knight's protection during travels, a blanket during bivouacs, a tablecloth for the country meals of shepherds and wayfarers or it was folded to soften the rigid and angular Sardinian saddle. The feminine Culuccia proposal is made with 4 shaped panels sewn together in Sardinian wool cloth, resistant to wind and humidity as well as having a natural water repellency. The hood is internally edged in Cordura nylon as is the front closure characterized by the Matthoneddus ribbon on which 5 large personalized horn buttons are affixed. Two large side pockets with brushed cotton handwarmer fabric. two external buttons to close the flaps creating two wide sleeves. The internal hanger is characterized by the iconic Matthoneddus graphic motif, typical of the traditional Sardinian saddlebag (Sa Bèrtula). Personalized with a QR label worked on a jacquard loom, which allows you to delve deeper into the project and identity of the garment.
